The Beginning

What is a banishing spell? In essence, it’s an energetic instruction to prevent someone from intruding on your space or taking action to harm you.

In this workshop, Melinda’s Enchanted Cottage will guide you through the basic banishing rituals, banishing techniques used in Ceremonial Magick,  a ‘wearing-off’ spell, how to remove non-physical influences ranging from spirits to negative energies and also a barrier spell. Most importantly, We will show you how to neutralize a banishing spell.

Tonight’s workshop will be hands on as our intention is to craft 2 spells this evening. Melinda and Jeremy will work individually with each workshop participant to manifest his or hers intention into their spell.  We have a dedicated space and tools readily available for you to preform these banishing spells, we ask that you take some time prior to the workshop to create a focus for your spells. If you need some guidance please don’t hesitate to message.

It’s important to understand all the uses when working with banishing techniques, and all the correspondences to enhance your Magick, these topics will be widely looked at during the evening events. Our Workshop will also include using banishing techniques for removing unwanted people from your life but we will also tackle the consequences of taking away free will.

As always our workshops are full of information and spells, we suggest you bring your Book of shadows/Grimoire or items for taking notes.  Melinda’s Enchanted Cottage will be providing notes for you as well but we all know so much more Magick happens during the workshops then what’s just on paper.

Candle Magick has been around since the dawn of time, traced as far back as the Paleolithic era. It is a very powerful form of sympathetic magic.

This workshop allows you to explore candles and the magick with in.  We will talk about spells, divination with flame, smoke and wax dripping. We will talk about candle burning, colours and candles used as ritual tool.

Unlock the mysteries of the tarot, a deck of 78 cards containing rich symbolic imagery and occult wisdom.

Our focus for the workshop will be the history of tarot, choosing and cleansing your deck, components of your deck the major and minor arcana. We will also take a look at numerology within tarot, reading for others, moral obligations as a reader and tarot spreads.

No experience is needed, the workshop is broken down into simplest form for anyone to learn.  Join Melinda, Jeremy and Jess for the morning as we open your mind to all the possibilities and knowledge that tarot offers. Experience the creative techniques Melinda has used over several years of reading and teaching this age old form of divination.

You will need to bring your own tarot deck for this hands on Workshop or feel free to purchase a deck from the shop….many choices available.
